We wanted to find out how far can AI assist devs. Our team of 2 designers and 2 artists had zero coding abilities, little game industry experience, and no one had ever made a Unity game alone. All C# scripts were written by Chat GPT. No ready controllers, templates or assets were used. Art was initially created by AI (Midjourney, Dall-E 2) and then modified by our artists. Music, voiceover, characters, story and dialogues were all AI-generated. We used Soundraw, MeloBytes, TTS, and our own GPT-3-based tool that assists in all stages of game design.
